About Us
H2O Swim School provides swimming lessons to children in Mayfield and Crowborough, East Sussex. The lessons in Crowborough were formerly provided by Helen's Swimming School and now one of her colleagues Venetia Self is incorporating these lessons into her business.
As all the staff and lessons are to remain as previous, we will continue to build upon our's and Helen's reputation based on technical emphasis combined with caring supportive teaching methods designed to help each child achieve their ambitions and goals. We keep the children motivated with clear targets working towards certificates and badges.
We offer a variety of swimming lessons from babies to Rookie Lifeguard. Babies and children up to Improvers 3 level swim in our Crowborough Pools at either St Marys School or Ashdown School. Children from Improver 4 level classes, right through to Gold Challenge, Rookie Lifeguard and Survive & Save swim at Mayfield on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Should you have other requirements please feel free to contact us as we are able to cater for most requirements!
All our Teachers and Assistants are either Swim England (formerly ASA) or STA qualified. Teachers remain on poolside while Assistants either assist poolside or where required, usually just in our Crowborough pools, accompany swimmers in the water. All sessions also have a qualified lifesaver on poolside with each member of staff having personal professional insurance.
The main benefits of our swimming lessons are that children learn to swim in a fun, safe and structured way. They will be made aware of water safety and learn skills that could one day save their life.
